In this Policy ProGun uses specific terms with the subsequent meanings

Information you provide when you place an advertisement on the Website or when you make a purchase.

As part of the advert placement or purchase process we may collect your name, email address, telephone numbers, date of birth, trade or private customer, payment details. We may also collect your postcode in order to provide a positioning of each advert within our database, this allows potential buyers to locate items for sale within a set radius of a chosen location.

If your advert expires we may use your details to contact you via phone, text or e mail to give you the option of using ProGun website to relist the advert.

We use certain features to protect the privacy of our customers.

You will  be required to supply payment details when making purchases. Payment Card information is collected over a secure connection and all payment transactions will be encrypted. Payment Card information is used solely for the purpose of processing payment for your advert. ProGun retains no record of Payment Card details.

Password protected data systems which are accessed by ProGun staff and those contracted to the company.

Trade store sellers are required to provide bank account number and sort code or PayPal email to enable ProGun to process payments via a secure and encrypted payment system.

Where customers make a purchase from the multivendor store ProGun may provide basic information to third parties to enable the purchase to be processed. The advert displays the vendor details.

Information we request from you if you place an advert on the Website

If you place an advert on the Website, we will need to collect your email address to send you communications about how to access and manage your account. You can access and edit your profile at any time in order to update your details.

We collect information in order to administer the Website and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes.

Information you provide when requesting or using services on the Website

If you would like to advertise on the website we will require you to supply your name, e-mail address, postal address and telephone numbers. Your contact details are collected to enable us to pass the details you select in your profile to third parties who may contact you directly, for example you place an advert on the website and a customer will use the details in the advert to contact you. You can edit the information a cutomer can see by selecting edit profile.

Information we collect if you use our Mobile Applications

If you choose to access the mobile optimised site, we may receive information about your location and your device (mobile / laptop)

By submitting personal information to us, you are deemed to have agreed to the terms set out above regarding the use of your personal information.

ProGun may also contact you for research purposes.

This may be done by a passport or driving licence image or a letter clearly showing your name and address from a known organisation, bank or energy provider.
